Delivering a national campaign across seven citiesThe Swiss Malaria Group needed to deliver its 10th World Malaria Day campaign across seven Swiss cities simultaneously, coordinating 13 member organisations with different priorities, languages, and capacities.As Communications and Project Manager, I aligned local campaigns with a national strategy, managed content production and stakeholder communications, and kept the event coordination on track across the country.The result: delivered on time, within budget, with consistent messaging across all seven cities.

Experienced, practical and calm under pressure.I'm Lya, I’m half-Swiss, half-British, based in the Basel area. I've spent 15+ years managing complex projects and operations across broadcast media, international NGOs, and UN-adjacent programmes in Europe and East Africa.I understand how international organisations work, how to communicate across cultures, and how to get things moving when everything feels stuck.I work in English. I navigate Switzerland in German and French. And I've learned from experience what makes the difference between a system that looks good on paper and one that people actually use.
