Delivering a national campaign across seven citiesThe Swiss Malaria Group needed to deliver its 10th World Malaria Day campaign across seven Swiss cities simultaneously across seven Swiss cities, coordinating 13 member organisations with different priorities, languages and capacities.
As Communications and Project Manager, I aligned local campaigns with the national strategy, managed content production and stakeholder communications, and coordinated activities across the country to keep everything on track.The result: The campaign was delivered on time, with consistent messaging and coordinated activity across all seven cities.

ABOUT
I’m Lya - half-Swiss, half-British, based in the Basel area. I love being a strategic wingwoman for founders and teams who are building something of their own.I’ve spent 15+ years managing complex projects and operations across global media, international NGOs and UN programmes in East Africa. My career has taken me from coordinating a seven-city golf tour across China to organising high-risk filming assignments in Somalia and managing a national public health campaign across Switzerland.Different environments, different challenges - but the same core skills: seeing the bigger picture, bringing people together, managing moving parts and keeping things on track when plans change.I work in English and navigate Switzerland in German and French. I understand how international teams work, how to communicate across cultures, and what makes the difference between a system that looks good on paper and one that people actually use.Today, I bring that experience to founders and growing teams who need practical, hands-on support with their operations and projects - helping them bring clarity, structure and momentum to the things that matter.
